Should you act?

Exploited: patch now if you run it

CISA has confirmed exploitation in the wild. This signal is computed from CISA KEV, EPSS and CVSS data; it is not an editorial verdict.

  • Yes, if you run Craft CMS Craft CMS. CISA added this CVE to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on 2026-03-20, which means there is reliable evidence of exploitation in the wild. US federal agencies must remediate by 2026-04-03; treat that as the outer limit, not the target.
  • EPSS 99.8%, percentile 100.0: FIRST’s model estimates a 99.8% chance of exploitation activity in the next 30 days, higher than 100.0% of all scored CVEs (very high). EPSS is a probability, not a verdict.
  • Remotely reachable with no login and no user interaction. If the vulnerable service is exposed to the internet, prioritize it.
  • Only applies if your dependency tree includes craftcms/cms (Composer (PHP)) >= 3.0.0-RC1, <= 3.9.14, fixed in 3.9.15; craftcms/cms (Composer (PHP)) >= 4.0.0-RC1, <= 4.14.14, fixed in 4.14.15; craftcms/cms (Composer (PHP)) >= 5.0.0-RC1, <= 5.6.16, fixed in 5.6.17. Check your lockfile, including transitive dependencies.

What it is

Craft is a flexible, user-friendly CMS for creating custom digital experiences on the web and beyond. Starting from version 3.0.0-RC1 to before 3.9.15, 4.0.0-RC1 to before 4.14.15, and 5.0.0-RC1 to before 5.6.17, Craft is vulnerable to remote code execution. This is a high-impact, low-complexity attack vector. This issue has been patched in versions 3.9.15, 4.14.15, and 5.6.17, and is an additional fix for CVE-2023-41892.

From the GitHub advisory
