# CVE-2026-69264: Flowise: RCE via CSVAgent csvFile data URI base64 segment is interpolated into Python source without validation

**Signal:** Critical, preconditions apply. Severe if exploited, but exploitation needs conditions that may not apply to you. (Computed from CISA KEV, EPSS and CVSS; not an editorial verdict.)

## Should you act?

- Not in CISA KEV , but CISA’s SSVC assessment records a public proof-of-concept, so attack code exists.
- EPSS 1.1% , percentile 66: FIRST’s model estimates a 1.1% chance of exploitation activity in the next 30 days, higher than 66% of all scored CVEs (moderate). EPSS is a probability, not a verdict.
- Needs an account (low (any account)). Exposure depends on who can log in.
- Only applies if your dependency tree includes flowise (npm) <= 3.1.2, fixed in 3.1.3 ; flowise-components (npm) <= 3.1.2, fixed in 3.1.3 . Check your lockfile, including transitive dependencies.

## What it is

Prior to 3.1.3, Flowise CSVAgent interpolates an attacker-controlled segment of the csvFile data URI directly into a Python source-code template that is then executed by Pyodide. Because Pyodide is loaded with the default js bridge to globalThis, which on Node.js exposes eval and dynamic import, the attacker can break out of the Python string literal, hand a JavaScript string to js.eval, dynamically import Node built-in modules such as fs and childprocess, and execute arbitrary file I/O or OS commands as the Flowise process. The two validator paths around this code, validatePythonCodeForDataFrame and validateCustomReadCSVFunction, are never applied to the bootstrap template. A workspace user with chatflows:create or agentflows/chatflows update permission can plant a CSV Agent node with a crafted csvFile; once the chatflow is exposed via POST /api/v1/prediction/:id, any unauthenticated request triggers host remote code execution. This issue is fixed in version 3.1.3.

## Affected packages

- npm `flowise` <= 3.1.2 → fixed: 3.1.3
- npm `flowise-components` <= 3.1.2 → fixed: 3.1.3

## Affected products (CVE record)

- FlowiseAI Flowise: < 3.1.3

## Severity

- GitHub_M CVSS 4.0: 9.4 `CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:H/VA:H/SC:H/SI:H/SA:H`

## Exploitation

- CISA KEV: not listed (no confirmed in-the-wild exploitation known to CISA).
- CISA SSVC assessment: exploitation poc , automatable no , technical impact total .
- FIRST EPSS (model of 2026-10-21): 1.11% probability of exploitation activity in the next 30 days; percentile 66.
